The following are actual case studies of the results that two companies achieved while testing EWP Warepad:
| In the Hutchens Industries lab tests, the Warepads outlasted five sets of springs. THE TEST: STANDARD SPRING FATIGUE TEST Hutchens lab tested the EWP Warepad* by constant cycling weight loads from 500 pounds to 1.5 times the rated load of the spring. THE RESULTS The test ran 5 springs to failure on the same set of EWP Warepads. Even after the 5th spring failed, the EWP Warepad showed only 40% wear! *Samples of the EWP Warepad were provided to Hutchens for testing purposes.

Andrews Transport, LP eliminated the need for steel pads by using the EWP Warepads. THE TEST: FIELD TESTING Prior to installing EWP Warepads, Andrews Transport, LP was replacing the steel wear pads on their trailers every 9 months. The EWP Warepads were installed for a field test. THE RESULTS The trailers that had the EWP Warepads installed ran along the same route as prior to installation for 18 months. After these 18 months, the EWP Warepad still had over 70% of the pad remaining. Andrew’s Director of Maintenance estimates that the EWP Warepad will save the company $5000 per trailer over the life of a EWP Warepad (vs. installing steel wear pads).  |
